The excitement and electricity of General Basketball tips off in late November. Opportunities for Junior High, JV, and Varsity levels for boys and girls in grades 6th-12th are available. With lots of hard work, responsibility, and discipline, Basketball is an enjoyable and successful venture for participants and spectators alike.
In the brisk days of January, baseball for B-Team , JV, and Varsity begins at TSA. With more than 18 games scheduled from early March through May, boys in grades 6th-12th are encouraged to participate. With one of the finest fields in the area and positive attitudes towards the game, baseball draws a large fan base.
Men and women in grades 7th-12th. Shooters compete in squads of three and competitions are held once a month on Saturdays. The season begins in December and runs through May.
Thomas Sumter Academy’s bowling program is a well-respected and competitive team. With a focus on friendly competition and personal growth, the league is a great place for bowlers of all levels to improve their skills and make new friends. The boys and girls bowling team always gives it their all and represents their school with pride and sportsmanship.
A Track program is available to girls and boys in grades 5th-12th. Each year students explore their opportunities in the various events open for competition. Students practice at the stadium located across the road from Thomas Sumter Academy. Competition takes the team to various locations around the Midlands.
