Head Coach for Varsity Basketball

The ideal candidate has:

  • Coaching experience with male athletes in Gr. 9-12
  • Knowledge of all standard basketball rules and regulations
  • Strong team management skills
  • Excellent instructional delivery
  • Comfortable in the decision-making process
  • Problem-solving capabilities
  • Numerous leadership qualities
  • Demonstrate organizational ability and great attention to detail
  • Availability to attend all scheduled practices and games

  • Experience using various forms of basketball equipment
  • Understanding of all policies and procedures enforced by Thomas Sumter Academy – exhibit the TSA ethos
  • Desire to abide by all athletic regulations provided by both Thomas Sumter Academy and the South Carolina Independent School Association

An athletic stipend is provided based on coaching experience at the conclusion of baseball season. Additional duties may be required of the candidate.
