Thomas Sumter Academy Alumni are second to none. Many of them have returned over the years to be teachers, coaches, and mentors. Some are doctors, lawyers, businessmen and businesswomen. Some serve in government – local and state. The bottom line is that our Alumni are servant-principled leaders – no matter what their vocation or job is, they all serve in one capacity or another.
Our graduates have seen 100% college acceptances to such colleges and universities as Washington & Lee, Clemson, University of South Carolina, Wofford, and The Citadel. Other colleges include Charleston Southern University, Coastal Carolina, and Winthrop University just to name a few. Out-of-state colleges also include UGA, Auburn, and the University of Alabama along with Tulane, Mary Baldwin College, Colorado Christian College, and West Virginia Institute of Technology to name a few. Our graduates have earned an average of over $7 million in scholarships over the last 8 years.
