Dear Friends of TSA,

At Thomas Sumter Academy, we know “it takes a village to raise a child.” Along with our school families, alumni, friends, and teachers, you play an essential role in helping us to carry out our Mission; to develop, in a safe and Christian environment, well rounded individuals who are fully prepared for college and life. With your financial support, we can enhance educational, extracurricular and support programs while keeping tuition levels affordable for all school families. Our Annual Fund has helped with many projects over the past year: new lighting in our main hall, expanding to open our East Columbia Campus, supporting our continued efforts with E-books, and supporting our STEAM philosophy. The continued growth of TSA is not possible without you.

This year, we work towards a goal of $60,000 for our Annual Fund to support our students in their ever-changing needs throughout the school year. We are also working on our TSA family’s future with a Capital Campaign. It is understandable to only want to support one of these campaigns but so important to consider them both. Our Annual Fund runs every year to bridge the tuition gap and support our student’s yearly needs, while our Capital Campaign is focused on specific projects over a 3-5 year giving period.

You may have heard about Green to Gold: The Campaign for Thomas Sumter Academy. We are excited about the early success of this campaign with over $434,785 already committed. Reaching our goal of $750,000 will require all of the Generals to give generously. Your gift will enhance the STEAM program for students at every level and location and upgrade the Gymnasium Lobby. I hope you will consider supporting Green to Gold with a stretch gift that can be paid over the next three years. The back side of the Annual Fund Pledge card has a place for you to pledge your support to Green to Gold. Thank you for giving generously!

We have often said that no gift is too small. Every dollar you donate to the Annual Fund makes a difference in the lives of our children. Will you help us reach our Annual Fund goal of $60,000 this year? If your employer has a matching gift program, your gift to our school may be doubled or tripled. Forms are often available through your employer’s Human Resources Department. All gifts are tax deductible and will be acknowledged in our Development Report. We are grateful for your continued prayers and financial support that allow us to prepare the next generation of youth to make a difference in our world.
