The primary reason for Thomas Sumter Academy is to provide a safe learning environment enabling students to acquire a strong foundation in academia while also participating in athletics and extra-curricular activities enabling the development of principled leaders and individual dependability.

TSA has an engaged, loving and caring faculty whom strive to create and maintain an environment of Christian attitude and discipline. Positively influencing our students in critical thinking skills and a collaborative learning environment is extremely important.

Thomas Sumter Academy has affectionately throughout the years been referred to as “The Hill” because of our physical location, nestled in the “gently rolling hills of Santee,” located in the triangle created by Sumter, SC Camden, SC and Shaw Air Force Base. Our location promotes diversity and we attract children from families of various walks of life.
