Marty/Crystal Alumni Basketball Game Alumni from several decades met on the gym floor to raise money for the Marty Crystal Scholarship fund. The ladies played first with Coach BJ taking on several of her former players. Between good hearted ribbing and lots of laughter, the other team took the game. The fellows took the court next with just as much energy. This is the third year this event has been held to benefit the scholarship

The 2011-2012 Girls Varsity Basketball team along with graduates Caitlyn Ross and Alex Williams visited the College of Charleston basketball arena to watch former TSA General Mikaela Hopkins play against nationally ranked #2, UConn on December 17, 2011.
Class of 1995
Shelly Hogan Koehler was voted one of the outstanding attorneys in Little Rock, Arkansas. According to a recent publication, Shelly’s courtroom experience is far more than a career’s worth for most attorneys. Shelly was mentored by many lawyers to whom she gives credit for her success. She has worked for one of Arkansas’ reputed best white collar defense attorneys, Sam Perroni. Shelly is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BA and received her J.D. with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She received her law degree from the William H. Bowen School of Law. She has moved and hopes to join a Northwest Arkansas firm soon.

B.J. Thames Reed was recently inducted into the Sumter Sports Hall of Fame. B.J. continues to influence the current generation of Generals with her love for Thomas Sumter Academy, mathematics, and athletics especially basketball. Congratulations BJ!
